Okay, so I have decided to share my drumming experience and journey with others through a blog which is for now called 'Drumthort.' Drumthort will discuss the drumming experience on a more broader and holistic level than what I have seen other drum blogs talk about. Drumthort will aim to encourage drummers of all levels to create and express themselves on the kit and or other percussion instruments. It will express ideas on all the fantastic methods of learning drums, teaching drums and playing drums, with the underlying focus being that there is no wrong or right, and there is many ways to do things. Another theme that will be consistent is mention of all the benefits drumming has for the individual and the listener in terms of good health. The blog will excite and inspire people about drums, it will connect with the creative drummer, and the musical drummer, whom is not drawn to playing other drummers beats perfectly, but drawn to the creation of his own beats, and the expression of his own unique energy. It will draw in those people who have high kinesthetic energy and creative energy because their truth lies in the ideas that are shed here. It will teach them the importance of their role as a drummer, and what the future of music holds for them, with the belief that creative/musical drummers will always exist as this listening experience is completely unique and crucial for humanity. It will also give them tips as to how to improve their drumming. Drumming must live on forever as it is a crucial expression of the human energy. I hope this blog connects with future drummers, present or past drummers and unites us all so that we can continue to work towards transmitting the human energy which is so inherently present within us. And right now I have many ideas as to what could happen with this blog, but of course I dont know exactly what will happen.
